This fact alone has created an imbalance of power within the global supply chain and resulted in multiple competition risks, both short-term and long-term, to markets outside of China in regard to advanced manufacturing, the global energy transition, and defence capabilities.

IonicRE is actively countering the implications of a global REE and NdFeB magnet monopoly to provide ready-to-market magnets and heavy rare earth oxides (HREO) to nations around the globe through advanced magnet recycling, REE refineries, and the development of high performance magnet production facilities. This move is imperative in protecting magnet and material availability, both in regard to pricing and supply, to critical industries globally, with a key focus on South America, East Asia, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and North America.
